While walking through the pits one day a bike rider, Peter Pollet,
stopped me and said he had visited our site. I asked him how he
liked it. He said, it's good, but no bikes! I want to see some
bikes! I didn't have my camera that day, but here is the start of a
page dedicated to the bikers of drag racing in Baton Rouge and surrounding
areas. Bikers are some of the
most daring people on the face of the Earth. I tip my helmet to the
bike racers for riding these rockets from 11 seconds (slow, stock bike),
down to 5 seconds (Pro Stock Bike), sometimes on one wheel
for almost 1/8 mile!
