Nov. 29, 2007 - Willie reports that James is at
home and doing well after his eye surgery.
Nov. 28, 2007- James is going to have eye surgery
tomorrow. This will be the first of two surgeries to remove cataracts
from each eye. We wish James the best. No surgery is minor!
James has been working with two young men in his
neighborhood that like to hang around and watch James while he is repairing
bicycles and working on cars. These young men were failing in three
classes at the start of the school year. That was when James took
individual interest in the two boys. Now, both of them are on the
honor roll for this semester! All it took was some concern and care by
an adult male and it turned those boys around. Congratulations for a
job well done James! Keep up the good work.
Nov. 11-12, 2007 - James
and family, along with his friends, worked very hard at the Holiday
Helpers Race at State Capitol Raceway. James cooked and fed many of the
team members and anyone else that wanted a plate of good food. They
provided a variety of good food, including cakes, fruits and salads to go
along with the all the other things, like Mexican Cornbread! Thanks
James and family!
August 11, 2007 - James
